Refund & Return Policy

At BIOGRAPH, we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent shopping experience. This Refund and Return Policy is formulated in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable government guidelines for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands operating in India.

Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand our procedures, your rights, and the conditions for returns and refunds.

1. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: The return request must be initiated within 18 days from the date of delivery.

  • Condition of the Product: The item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received them.

  • Tags and Packaging: All original brand tags, labels, and hygiene stickers must be intact and firmly attached. The product must be returned in its original packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt, order confirmation email, or proof of purchase must be provided.

2. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

While all categories of items are generally eligible for return, they must be in perfect, resalable condition.

Note: BIOGRAPH reserves the right to reject returns if the items show signs of wear, alteration, washing, or damage caused by the customer. In such cases, the goods will be returned to the customer at their expense.

3. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

To request a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer support at biographlife@gmail.com within the 18-day return window. As per government guidelines, we will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.

  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number, the name of the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. If the item is defective or damaged upon arrival, please attach clear photographs of the defect.

  3. Approval: Our team will review your request and, if approved, will provide you with a Return Authorization and instructions on how to dispatch your items back to our facility.

4. RETURN SHIPPING & LOGISTICS

  • Standard Returns/Exchanges: For all standard returns and exchanges (e.g., sizing issues, change of mind), the customer is responsible for arranging the return courier and bearing the return shipping costs. BIOGRAPH does not offer a reverse pickup service.

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. BIOGRAPH will bear the liability for replacing or refunding defective goods.

  • Return Address: All approved returns must be shipped to our registered facility: BIOGRAPH SHOP NO.2011/WING:A, THE POLARIS TEXTILE CITY, MAGOB ROAD, Magob, Surat, Gujarat - 395010

5. REFUND PROCESS

Once your returned item is received and inspected at our facility, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If the return passes our quality check, your refund will be processed immediately.

  • Method of Refund: The refund will automatically be credited back to your original method of payment (e.g., Bank Account, Credit Card, UPI).

  • Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing time.

  • Deductions: If the original order included shipping charges, those charges are non-refundable. Only the principal cost of the product(s) will be refunded.

6. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received an approved refund within the stipulated 7 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please escalate the issue to us at biographlife@gmail.com.

7. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you require a different size of the exact same product (subject to inventory availability). To process an exchange, email us at biographlife@gmail.com. If the requested size is out of stock, a refund will be issued instead.

8. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

In compliance with E-commerce consumer guidelines, we accept order cancellations only before the order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

  • To cancel an un-shipped order, please email us immediately.

  • Once an order has been successfully dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified. If you no longer wish to keep the items, you must receive the package and follow the standard 18-day return process outlined above.
